Who provides CAINC
SemanticGaps provides CAINC, a service for exploring document collections as Semantic Terrains, using maps, networks, source documents, entities and related research tools. Contact us at [email protected].
Your account and use
You must be an adult legally able to enter this agreement. If you use CAINC for an organization, you must have authority to act for it. Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials and API keys, and notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize.
Use CAINC lawfully and within your plan's limits. Do not bypass authentication, access controls or rate limits; access another user's information without authorization; interfere with the service; or use it to harass people or infringe their rights. Authorized API use is permitted within documented limits.
Research results and source material
Terrain proximity, labels, entity matches and routes are computed research aids. They do not establish causation, wrongdoing, factual accuracy or professional advice. Check the underlying sources before relying on an interpretation. Source collections may be incomplete, contain errors or reflect their publishers' views.
Third-party documents remain subject to their owners' rights and source licenses. Access through CAINC does not grant additional redistribution rights. You retain rights you hold in your own notes and other content. You authorize us to process that content as necessary to provide and secure the service. These terms do not grant permission to publish your private account content as a public terrain.
You may share exports made available under your plan, subject to source rights. Preserve attribution and provenance included in those exports; do not imply endorsement by SemanticGaps or a source publisher. CAINC software and branding remain the property of SemanticGaps or their respective owners.
Plans, payment and renewal
Free access and paid subscriptions provide the features and limits described at purchase. Coming-soon features are not part of the purchased service until made available. Individual terrains and source availability can change; no particular research result or uptime commitment is promised unless separately agreed.
The current Cartographer subscription is USD 399 per month or USD 3,888 per year. The annual amount is charged upfront. Any applicable tax is disclosed at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically at the selected interval until canceled. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges through Stripe. We will communicate material price changes before they apply to a renewal and allow you to cancel.
Paid access begins after successful payment and confirmation by our billing system. If access does not appear, contact support. Failed payments may result in restricted paid access. Account security, API limits and abuse controls continue to apply to paid subscriptions.
Cancellation and refunds
Cancel renewal through the billing portal linked from your CAINC account. You may also contact [email protected] for assistance. Ordinary cancellation keeps paid access through the end of your current billing period and stops the next renewal. Cancellation does not by itself request a refund.
For your first paid CAINC subscription purchase, request a refund within 14 days of the purchase by contacting [email protected] from your account email. We will refund that first subscription payment in full, including associated taxes collected, to the original payment method. Refunding that purchase ends the paid subscription and its paid access. Bank processing time may vary.
Renewals and requests after the first-purchase window are reviewed individually; refunds are not guaranteed except where applicable law requires them. This policy does not limit mandatory consumer cancellation, withdrawal or refund rights.
Account deletion is separate from end-of-period cancellation and may end access immediately. Contact support before deletion if you need help preserving exports or requesting a refund. Deletion does not itself guarantee a refund.
Availability, enforcement and changes
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address security, abuse, nonpayment or legal obligations. Where practical and lawful, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact us. If we discontinue a paid service before the end of its paid term, we will address unused prepaid service fairly and as required by law. Material changes to these terms will receive notice; changes do not retroactively remove rights already accrued.
Privacy and legal rights
Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal information. Accepting these terms does not substitute for a separate analytics-consent choice where required. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Disputes can first be raised at [email protected].
